If you are finishing your course this term then all your Library items will be due on or before Friday 29 June. If you need items during the final week of term then we can renew them for you, but everything must be returned and all fines/invoices paid by Friday 6 July.

Deferred recital/assignment?

If you have deferred your recital or an assignment you can pay a £20 deposit to continue to use the Library during this time. The deposit will be refunded once all of your items are returned.

Coming back in September?

If you are starting a new course in September but wish to borrow items over the summer vacation all you need to do is pay a £50 deposit to the Library. This deposit will be returned to you in September once you have registered onto your new course. Ask a member of Library staff for further information.

Still want to use the Library after you leave?

If you're not returning to the RNCM you can still borrow from the Library by becoming an outside borrower. The Library is offering a free year to all new graduates, you just need to pay a £50 returnable deposit. For more information on this click here or ask a member of Library staff.

(Only students who are deemed in good standing with the Library are eligible to become outside borrowers.)

Please note that this does not apply to students continuing on the same course of study, nor Masters students who can continue to borrow until 30th September.
