Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Support
Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Support
students can access multi-faith chaplaincy support through the University of Manchester.
The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team at the University welcomes people of all faiths and those with none. The team offers pastoral spiritual and religious care, and religious guidance to staff, students, and on occasion their families or guardians.
The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy consists of an informal network of independent affiliated chaplaincies and chaplains. Each Chaplain operates within a shared set of principles that seeks to ensure all staff and students who access chaplaincy services receive the best possible care and support, irrespective of belief.

Faith Groups and Societies
The University of Manchester has a number of faith groups and societies most of which RNCM students are very welcome to join. Here's how:
- Sign up as an Associate Member here: University of Manchester Students' Union (manchesterstudentsunion.com).
- One of the UoM SU team will then review their form and send over login details for the SU website. If there’s a delay in this, contact societies.su@manchester.ac.uk.
- You can then sign up as a member to societies that have an associate membership available here: University of Manchester Students' Union (manchesterstudentsunion.com).
- Societies aren’t obligated to have their membership open to associates and so there may be some that are limited to UoM students only. If this is the case, get in touch with the society using the contact details on their page and ask if they can open up their membership to non-UoM students.
Multi-Faith Prayer Room
The closest prayer room to RNCM (that we're aware of) is at the Manchester Museum. It has washing facilities and is available to anyone who wants to use it for prayer, contemplation, or meditation. Check the museum opening times before you go.
