• How can I access the RNCM Counselling Service?

    How to register

To arrange a session with one of the College Counsellors, please go to https://live.uniticms.com/rncm/register/?form=register

The RNCM Counselling Service is a free and confidential service. All enquiries, appointments, and referrals are dealt with through the Uniti Counselling Management System. Any information you provide to the Counselling Service will remain confidential to the College Counsellors, or in certain instances, the Student Disability and Wellbeing team. A summary of the kind of support available to you is here.

You will be asked to register with the Service by completing an online form. Please provide as much information as you can as this will allow the Counsellors to respond to your request quickly and in the most appropriate way. As soon as we have been able to review you request, one of the counsellors will be in touch to discuss the next steps. We would hope to do this within 3 working days. We can offer sessions face-to-face in college or via Zoom. Your preference will be considered when arranging your counselling sessions.

We hope you will find the procedure clear and straightforward to use. If you do have any questions, please do get in touch with us at Counselling@rncm.ac.uk, and put ‘Information’ in the Subject.

    How to find us

Sessions may take place in the Counselling Room (318) on the top floor (blue corridor) of the main building. Access is either directly from the corridor or, more discreetly, through the anteroom (317) near the lift. Sometimes sessions are held in the Oxford Road Wing – Room 204+. Sessions may also take place on Zoom or MS Teams, or by telephone.

    When we are available

We are available during term-time. Once you have registered we will be in touch to arrange a suitable time to meet.

    Other information

Arrangements confirming your agreement to the boundaries and other factors in which counselling will be taking place will be notified to you and need to be confirmed by you in advance of the first session. There is also some information, boundaries and guidance that relate specifically to working online. A copy will be sent to you at the same time as the counselling agreement.
