Hi Larks,

Well done for another great week!

We are looking at all 3 of our scales - D major should be our most comfortable, G major and C major a bit newer.  You can try these with different rhythms you make up or single notes up and down. If you are curious about which notes you have, I have attached the music for each scale for you to use.

Dark Horse - we have nearly cracked the written section now - try to practise with the backing track to get the tempo just right - its quite quick!

In the middle section we discovered that we could improvise using some of our D string notes - experiment with this this week. You can use 8 beats of F#, 8 beats of G, 8 beats of F# then 8 beats of E before getting ready to play the written part again. Try to listen for the changes in the music to change notes in the correct place, and count the beats too!

Have fun Improvising!

Stephen
