Well done for your work on left hand plucking and careful ensemble playing.
Please could you practise Vilanova from your Violin Star 1 books?
1. Say the note names (A, D or E)
2. Pluck with your right hand (normal hand, thumb on fingerboard)
3. Pluck with left hand (put right hand behind your back/in your back pocket. Swing your elbow in towards your tummy under the violin so your fingers can pluck the string)
Using a pencil could you have a go at the bow hold exercises we tried? Make a little hole in your hand, let the pencil rest between your middle finger and thumb tip. Flop your fingers over the top and tippy tap your pink on top. This will feel very tricky to begin with so don't worry if this feels new and hard. We will be practising a lot of times together before this feels easy, so please don't worry about it too much.
