Hello Larks,
We are still working at building up our D major scale learning. Here are the steps which will make sure we can play it really confidently:
1. sing the scale in sol fa (this is doh)
2. Sing the finger numbers (this is D, this is 1 etc)
3. Pluck the scale saying this is D, this is 1 etc.
4. Bow the scale while saying this is D, this is 1.
Remember to really focus on your fingers going down or coming off the string. Don't get distracted by anything else going on, just you and your viola!
