    • Professional Engagements

Public performances are a key part of a musician's development. The Professional Engagements team co-ordinates over 300 professional engagements each year, largely for soloists and chamber ensembles. The team acts as an agency, liaising with senior academic staff in order to match the most suitable performers to a wide range of external professional engagements. The RNCM has long-standing links with numerous music clubs, choral societies and orchestras both in the North West and further afield. The team also co-ordinates regular recitals in Manchester's St Ann's and Emmanuel Churches and the Whitworth Art Gallery.

20/21: As keen as we are to restart live music-making our priority is of course the health, safety and wellbeing of all involved. Given that the national and regional Covid restrictions can change rapidly, we are mainly working on moving concerts online as well as taking bookings further in advance. As the professional engagement team continue to work from home, any External List application can be done digitally and authorised by your tutor, ensemble’s coach or Head of School via email. Please have a look at the individual forms in the useful documents section below but don't hestiate to get in touch should you have any further questions.
