Wow, another great lesson well done team! Today we practised our rest and playing positions and double checked our string names.
We had a look at our strings and how they are written on the stave. (The stave is the group of 5 lines we write our music on.)
Have a look at the attached picture of the stave and our open string notes and check that you're happy with what they look like and where they are. Use this diagram to help you work out the notes of the 3 pieces we did today.
Remember to follow the notes carefully so you get the sh at exactly the right moment!
If you're able to play these pieces confidently, have a go at doing the patterns with your eyes closed. Use your ears to find out if you're playing the correct strings or not!
Most of all, have lots of fun playing your violins this week. Well done for your focus and great learning this morning.
