This week we have:
'Rain is Falling Down' and 'Have you brought your _ String?' - play these each time you pick up your cello!
Manhattan Blues using the video from last week's notes - please have a go at improvising in the middle sections - try and see if some strings sound better than others with different parts of the music?
Thanks for buying your new books! From Vamoosh, please also have a go at Jig on your own with the backing track. From Cello Time Starters, please find page 7 and look at the piece 'Swing, Swing, Swing your arm' - each heart beat shape in the song is a beat of the music, notice which beats you need to make a sound on, and which beats you leave blank.
Lastly, try and remember what an F-Clef is, and what it does - full marks if you can tell me in the next lesson!
