We missed you this week Fox and Cillian! We hope you're OK.
This week we practised reading the notes on the D and A strings. We worked on the rhythm of Autumn making sure we were playing together, starting and stopping together and making sure our rests were absolutely silent.
Please have a little warm up of your D scales. Watch your bows to make sure they are staying in between the bridge and the fingerboard. Why don't you have an experiment with your sound while playing your scale? Can you find a strong/soft/spiky/bumpy/smooth sound?
Please have a look at the first 6 bars of Autumn.
1. Say the rhythm using jogging/walk or titi/ta
2. Say the finger numbers
3. Say the note names (C# D etc.)
4. Pluck it
5. Bow it
