Hi Bluebird team!

Wow your bowing was so fab this morning.

Please could you practise your 'goose' and 'sleeping goose' wrists?

Practise them on their own, then holding a pencil (using best bow holds) and then using the bow.

Please practise Trick or Treat with the bow as a warm up. Remember to do 'stop, rock' in the rests to watch your bow rocking onto the next string. If a friend could watch your bow carefully to make sure your bow stays between the bridge and the fingerboard that would be helpful.

Hundred Pipers - so this one is more tricky because there are no rests to give you time to watch your bow! Take it slowly. It would be a good idea to point at the notes and say them first, perhaps pluck them too. When you add the bow, ask a friend to point at the notes as you go to help you track. Your brain will be busy thinking about strings/string crossings/bow hold/good sound etc.

After this, give your bowing arm a rest. Could you practise Trolls Orcs and Goblins and focus on making sure the speed is the same throughout?

Well done everyone, looking forward to seeing you next week :)
