Hi Phaedon,
Well done today, you got through a lot of technical work which can sometimes be tricky.
Posture
You know this is really important! You must use your yellow sponge/cushion when you play. Please check the following things:
1) Your violin is round at 10 o clock
2) Your violin is flat (not droopy ... think about that malteaser!)
3) You can hold your violin using just the weight of your head and not holding it up with your hand.
To help you feel confident with finding the strings with your violin this new position you can use Trick or Treat from Violin Star 1 to help you. Practise it in the following ways:
1) Pluck with left hand then repeat with eyes closed
2) Pluck with right hand using 3rd finger then repeat with eyes closed
3) Pluck with right hand using 2nd finger then repeat with eyes closed
4) Pluck with right hand using 1st finger then repeat with eyes closed
5) Pluck one note with left hand then one note with right hand
6) Bow then with eyes closed
Bow hold upgrade:
Place the bow stick in your finger knuckles, holding it in the finger tips doesn't allow for best sound and hand flexibility
Bow your hand down to the heel of the bow now
Check your thumb is bendy
