Well done Larks! We did some really good group work today.
We continued our work on slurs, as well as doing some reading and note name practice.
Please could you work on the following things this week:
1) "Goose" bowing (our bendy wrist positions) on open strings. Make sure your bow is in the middle of the bridge and the finger board and that it doesn't go too close to the bridge or over the fingerboard - this will give you a strong sound.
2) Slurs - could you please try slurring your D major scales on the way up (don't come down just yet):
D~1 2~3 A~1 2~3 or D~E F#~G A~B C#~D
3) Lines 3 and 4 of Gypsy Fiddle
