Hi Bluebirds -
Another great week - we have made great progress with our bows this week - well done! Keep practising your Flip onto different strings, landing in the middle of the bowzone! You can practise this with D string rock using full bows. I've uploaded A String Rock too so you can practise keeping your bow straight on your A string too.
Keep thinking about down bows and up bows as you play! This will help you with your pieces:
Cello Time Starters:
Copycat Blues - pizz and arco - make sure you are playing the string you are reading!
Mini Mozart - we haven't tried the rhythm variations in our lessons yet, so keep trying these!
Boogie Band - watch for your up bow and down bow directions as you switch strings.
Vamoosh:
Clown Dance - we are doing well with this pizzicato - try with your bow this week!
Next week I am away, but Ben Cashell will be coming in - Ben is a great cellist and teacher, so you will have a great time with him!
