Hello Larks!

Lovely work yesterday. Here's a recap of what we did and what I would like you to continue working on throughout the week.

-We focussed on the accuracy of our rhythms in 'Ripe Banana'. We want to make sure that the movement of our right arm matches the words to our song. A good way of doing this is saying the words out loud as we bow the song on an open D string.

-Right hand bow hold. Checking that your bow hold is corrrect and allowing you to make a great sound on your violin. Remember our bow bunnies: round thumbs, soft palms and fingers, and pinkie on the stick. We are going to be working lots on this!

As mentioned yesterday, I would like us all to choose a part of the song to share in class on Saturday. If there is a rhythmn in the song that you like you can choose this and play it on an open D string.

If you shared something with us on Saturday and woud like to share some more that would be fantastic!

Hope you have a wodnerful week,

Mari-Carmen
