We had a super lesson on Saturday. We discovered how to play our 4th fingers in tune with a great posture.
We found that if the 4th finger was tricky to get right we have to check our posture first:
1) Long thumb
2) Wrist down
3) Violin round on your shoulder
When your posture is correct your 4th finger actually managed to reach even higher then it needed to!
On the E string practise walking your fingers up the string one at a time (E F# G# A B or 0 1 2 3 4) and back down again.
When you are happy with this have a look at Beethoven Boogie. We practised lines 1, 2 and 4 in your lesson! As always, sing/say finger numbers and note names first. Pluck it if you want to but it's fine to go straight to bow if you're happy.
