Accessing your college email

Your college email can be accessed on a variety of devices, including home computers, and most mobile phones with internet access.

For external use - To access your emails through a web browser, after the migration you should use http://outlook.office365.com . Please note that you should use your email address to log into office 365 rather than your username.

You will still be able to log in via the old webmail page, but it will provide you with a link to redirect to Office 365, so it may be worth updating your bookmarks/favourites. 

 

Once logged In, if you click on ‘Office 365’ in the top left of the screen, you will notice that you now have access to Office 365 web apps such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.


If you have your email synced to your mobile phone or tablet, so far we have found the quickest way to get it working again is to simply delete the account and re-add it on the device so that it picks up all of the new server settings.  If asked for server name, please use outlook.office365.com and for username, enter your email address. There is also an Outlook app available for iOS, Android and Windows phone which is very simple to set up.

There are a number of different protocols for accessing your emails. Exchange is the most fully featured, as this also allows the synchronisation of your calendar and/or contacts. Otherwise, you can use IMAP, or POP
