Well Done Larks for another lesson this Saturday!
Soualle is sounding really good now - do a little bit of focused practise on the second line - particularly the B to G - this is the trickiest corner for us all!
Snap! - lines 1&2 seem quite secure, focus on line 3 for notes, and remember that line 4 is different to line 1&2. For line 5 we need our pizzicato bow hold, and although we need to get in and out of our pizzicato bow hold quickly - the rhythm is only ta ta ta sh for the pizz. - not as fast as the ti-ti's in lines 1-4.
Other things you can practise - C, G, D major scales. Slurs. using a second finger on all string - see how different your 1-2-4 pattern sounds from 1-3-4.
If you haven't done so already, please buy the book Cello Time Scales as we will be starting to work from this soon.
Well done again,
Stephen
