Great lesson this week!
We are practising our C Major, G major and D major scales - this week we thought up Star Wars rhythms - see if you can come up with some new ones this week, then try each scale in single notes.
Soualle is coming together nicely - try and keep your bows as smooth as possible in this piece to make it sound as much like a lullaby as possible.
In complete contrast - Snap! is all about being short and spikey with our bows - please have a look at this this week - work out the rhythm and the notes, then try to play them with a great staccato bow stroke.
Keep practising your slurs too - I've attached the music for the exercises we have been practising. Please print a copy out and bring it with you next week.
