Hi everyone,

Great to see you all at the parents' meeting on Saturday, thank you very much for coming. In response to your feedback re moodle, I have created a new 'Forum' in which to post ideas and resources for ensmeble practice. Every time I post something here, you will get an email, which I hope will be helpful!

This week, please could the Larks practise the melody lines for Boil em Cabbage Down? If they want another challenge, there are other harmony parts on the sheets. They should have paper copies of the parts but you will also find them in the Larks Ensemble Music section of moodle.

We are also learning a piece called Blue Blazes, which they love. It has a very funky backing track, which you can find on YouTube. We have been learning it by ear but I can post some help with the notes if they need it at home - let me know. If they listen to the track, you might find that it jogs their memory!

We also learned the Senua de Dende song that we sang together. Here is a recording.

Great thanks Sarah!
When I click on the link to Blue Blazes it works (and Iris loves it!), but the other link for Senua de Dende and the recording from last week don't open, just asking the other parents here whether they are having the same issue or whether it is my device? Thanks, Caz

Hi Caz,
So glad that Iris has been enjoying Blue Blazes! Thanks for letting me know that the Senua de Dende link doesn't work. I will investigate that!
See you all tomorrow,
Sarah
