Well done for your work on your ensemble pieces today.
With Senwa, try singing and playing it at the same time to make sure your fingers/notes are correct. Check the Larks ensemble music page if you need reminding of the sol fa. We worked on making the bowing smooth and connected so it sounds like we are singing it with our instruments. Straight bows between the bridge and fingerboard help with this, as well as keeping the bow moving.
Hydom, Tiddlydom - Try and spot the patterns like we did today. Often the beginning of the bar is the same and the ending is different. Rather than just playing from the beginning have a go at doing the beginnings of bars, then the ends of bars and then try it a line at a time.
If you're feeling very confident with the ensemble music then you can continue your practice with 4th fingers then keep going with Beethoven Boogie. Mia - can you work out my line?
