We talked a lot about posture today Aiden. Make sure your violin is round on your shoulder, not out in front of you. Make sure there is space for Klaus the mouse. This help your fingers find the G string notes more comfortably.
Practise your G scale. Make sure you know the note names as well as the finger numbers:

Have a go at playing it with your eyes closed. Use your ears to help you decide if the tuning/quality of sound is good.
