Hi Bluebirds,

Well done for a great lesson this week! Some great practise has been done by the sounds of it - a little every day is best if possible - keep aiming for that if you can!

You can keep using the video mentioned last week if that helps you - its a good warm up and reminder of how to sit.

I've also posted the D String Rock track in the link below - see if you can practise finding your D with your eyes closed or looking somewhere else - you can 'give me a wave' in between each 4 notes, just like we did in the lesson on Saturday!

Thanks everyone for making sure you have both books already - top job!

In your Cello Time Starters book:

Page 3 - Feel the Beat is a fun warm up rap

Page 4 - see how many of the parts of the cello you already know or can work out - lets compare answers next week!

Page 7 - Swing Swing Swing your Arm - try to use the swing away technique we practised, but still come back to the correct string. Its really useful to practise finding you strings without looking so that you can be free to follow the music with your eyes.

Vamoosh

Try using the music for Jig and please also have a look at Willow Waltz!

If you want an extra thing to practise, try flying around on Page 7 of Cello Time Starters.

Have a great week!

Stephen
