Saint Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) provides a comprehensive and co-ordinated forensic, counselling and aftercare service to men, women and children living in the Greater Manchester area who have experienced rape or sexual assault, whether this has happened recently or in the past. We also offer immediate crisis support and a forensic service to Cheshire.

You can use their services without making a report to the police or they can support you if and when you want to speak to the police

These packs contain lots of information about what you can do if you or someone else are a victim of sexual abuse or assault.

• LGBT Foundation are a national charity based in Manchester delivering a wide range of services to lesbian, gay and bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities. As well as being a third party hate crime reporting centre, they also run a free monthly police advice clinic supporting with issues such as hate crime, domestic violence, bullying and homophobia: 0345 330 3030.
