    There are many opportunities to meet new people and make friends inside and outside the RNCM. Here are some organisations that arrange activities around Manchester that you may want to get involved with.       University of Manchester Student Societies

      We have an agreement with UoM that RNCM students can join their societies! It's a great way to meet other students in Manchester and make new friends. They have a huge number of clubs and activities and there's something for everyone. 

      Manchester International Society

      Manchester International Society is run by the Student's Union of the University of Manchester. They have over 4,500 members from over 130 countries, so you can meet new friends from all over the world. From weekly social events, weekend and day trips around the UK, language classes to cultural evenings, there is plenty for you to do. Membership is open to all, costs £20 and gives you access to the full range of activities.

       

      Meetup

      People use Meetup to meet new people, learn new things, find support, get out of their comfort zones, and pursue their passions, together. Membership is free. Whatever your interest, from hiking and reading to networking and skill sharing, there are thousands of people who share it on Meetup. Events are happening every day, and there are all sorts of Meetup groups around Manchester that you can join to meet people with similar interests.
