Section outline

  • Physiotherapist Teresa Barrett of Withington Physiotherapy will be visiting the college on Thursday 23rd April to run a physiotherapy screening clinic. The clinic is suitable for anyone who believes they may have an injury that could benefit from physiotherapy and is seeking professional assessment and advice. This clinic is for screening purposes only, rather than providing treatment. If treatment is found to be required, Teresa will give guidance as to the most appropriate course of action and any referrals needed.*

Teresa Barrett qualified in 2003 with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool and holds an MSc in Trauma and Orthopaedics from the University of Salford (2013). She is experienced in treating all musculoskeletal conditions, with extensive experience in treating musicians, and is BAPAM registered.

*Please note: If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, we always recommend booking an appointment with your GP as a first step. This will allow them to examine you in person and advise on appropriate treatment. For physiotherapy referrals, please email us at Wellbeing@rncm.ac.uk . If you have already had physiotherapy sessions funded by us this academic year and think you may need more, please get in touch with us for further advice.
